Laughter is the best medicine.
Wisdom of an 8, 6, 4, and 2 year-old:

Nathan (4)- "Bishop? Is it a fast Sunday or a slow Sunday?
The kids get to have a treat from the bishop every Sunday, except for Fast Sunday.

Nathan-I love you Rabecca mommy!

Garrett(7.5)-Mom. What do the young men do when they turn 18?
Mom-They go into the Elders Quorum. The young women go into Relief Society.
Garrett-Then what is next for the young women?
Mom-That is the highest for the women, but after Elders is the High Priest.
Garrett-That's like close to Dads age, huh?
Mom-Yes, but don't tell Dad that.

Kayla (6)- Kayla was laying in bed with Paul while I was getting dressed for church. After I had finished I came into the room and she said " Doesn't your queen look beautiful?"

Kayla- Daddy, your princess wants you to sit next to her
Daddy-Which princess? The big princess or the little princess?
Kayla-Your pretty princess, Kayla Mayla Bayla.

Garrett ( yelling at Nathan)- Ye shall not lock the door!

Nathan- I have a scar, just like Harry Potter!

Nathan-One day Nathan was having a grand day getting every ones "goat." Awhile later he came down stairs hiding something under his shirt. When I asked him to show me what he had, he pulled out two empty bottles. They were my body splash scent bottles. I was calm, but gave him a stern lecture about keeping out of my room and not opening lids on bottles. His response was, "Mom, you should have been up there to stop me."

Elsie- At this time in her life she liked to stick out her tongue and while pointing her finger shout, "NO!!". At church, one Sunday, two ladies were sitting behind us and waving hello to Elsie when she responds by sticking out her tongue at them.

Those quotes are so funny. I love hearing what kids have to say. I especially liked Nathan's point: "You should have been up there to stop me." Too funny.

This is TOO Cute! What a great way to journal and keep us all up to date on the family. Did my kids ever say such amazing things? Love it all!
