Bottom one was taken by Nate Sunday morning and the top using the timer.

Casual moments

A girl asleep, two boys feet, a quiet read, tooth gone leaving a hole the size of a bead, these are a few of my favorite things.

End of day.

We all had a really fun time going to Disneyland. Nathan and Elsie had never been so it was really exciting to see what they did and didn't like. For them slow rides were a plus, fast or scary rides(snow white) can wait a few more years. Garrett and Kayla were not so sure how they would like the fast rides either, but after a few rounds they were game for anything. Kayla braved Indiana Jones twice while Garrett went on Splash Mountain for a second time with Paul. They both went on Big Thunder three times with Garrett declaring that it was his favorite ride. Nathan claims Indiana Jones as his favorite, but when asked if he would go again he didn't hesitate to say, "No". At the end of the day everyone was ready to go home and enjoyed having a souvenir or two to take with them. I think Disneyland will now be a part of our family activities every couple of years. My highlight was Paul exclaiming that it was great to not have a stroller to push around everywhere;)

Elsie BDay

Elsie and a her friend, Ryder, helped to make the batter for her birthday cupcakes. I attempted to make home made strawberry frosting, but I will have to keep working on that. Not enough flavor this time, but still good to eat. She enjoyed the day and the gifts she received. She even tells people that she used to be three, now she is four, and on her next birthday she will be five.

Harvest time

Garden prep and planting in March.

Elsie helped water the garden most days.

A few prayers and months later all is growing well.

Beautiful pictures taken a few days ago by Nathan. We have enjoyed the fruits of our labor and are ever grateful that we have enough to share. (Hint: when planting take into consideration if you will be in town when it is ready to harvest. Unfortunately, the kids and I will be out of town for most of the veges to be harvested, but Paul has already contacted a few families to come over and help him harvest:)
