Kayla- Oh man! This movie is an hour and ten minutes. The doctor said to only watch an hour a day.

(Nathan with a bar of soap in his mouth for name calling)
Paul- Don't swallow or you will have diarrhea!
Elsie-Why do you have diarrhea in your mouth?

I am not a princess, I am Elsie.

Nate-Guess what Dad? I got kicked out of school!
Paul with expression of surprise and a hint of knowing that this day was to come sooner or later
Nate-April Fools!!
We all laughed for a long time.
P.S. Nate is a good kid, he is just has a lot of energy, so if he was to get in trouble it wouldn't be for disobeying the rules, but more along the lines for not sitting still or getting ahead of himself.

Rabecca-Nate I hope you aren't drinking out of my cup! I have a really bad sore throat!
Nate-Aah, what! Oh no, a sore throat! (Pause) Yeah, no school!!

Elsie-Mom, don't kiss my pretty little pretty belly button

Kayla B-Day

Kayla turned eight this past February and we were able to have family and friends join us for her baptism. She is very excited and has a sweet spirit for doing what is right.

Crashed

After a day at he beach we headed to our friends home in Hemet. The kids were exhausted. Poor Elsie was literally bent in half. Luckily when Garrett woke up he was able to get a pillow from the back and I put it under her for some comfort and support.

Beach time

Having fun at the beach with friends.

Lizard man

Lizard on the fence...

Lizard in his hand...
Lizard on his head...
Leave it up to Nate to take things up a notch.

Strawberries

This last Tuesday we went strawberry picking in Carlsbad. The kids love having them for a mid-morning snack.

The 4th grade field trip is to the mission that is a 20 minute walk from the elementry school that Garrettt attends. Then the 4th graders get to choose which mission they would like to do a report on and Garrett choose the San Diego Mission. It was a fun family trip.
