| We went on a family trrip in February to Solveng, Ca. Paul and I had wanted to take the kids there for awhile and it worked out that there was a Mission nearby for Kayla to do her 4th grade report on. We had a fun time staying in a hotel, walking around each day to various parts of the town and don't forget that you cannot go to Solveng and not try thier Aebleskivers, DELISH!! We found a park named Hans Christian Anderson Park and it was a fun, much needed break off the beaten path, place to go to. Upon first entering there is a skate park and then about a quarter mile away is a 3 level playground and then another quarter mile down the road are some tennis courts. After playing tag at the playground we went on a casual hike and enjoyed exploring. |
