We went to California Adventure this year as part of our Halloween celebration. Our friends, the Donahoes, told us about it earlier this year and we incentivize dthe kids to do extra chores to pay for their tickets. If they did not want to go then they needed to pay for the babysitter. Needless to say, they all chose to go rather than pay for a babysitter. It was a hot night, around 80 degrees, but fun non-the-less. The kids went on a few rides and there were candy stations throughout the park. There were also professional characters dressed for the occasion.

Great Halloween pictures.
Was Elsie really having fun? Grandpa John wasn't sure at first who she was, a young Kayla.
Sounds like you had a great time.
Love,
Grandma Pearl and Grandpa John

Aunt Janes speaks again:
Hey where is little Nathan? Don't tell me you locked him up or put him in remform school for playing with the pumpkins. That was a silly telephone message Paul, we all laughed at your parental challenges. Keep up the good work you two. Congrats on prop 8!
